Long-term geospace climate monitoring

چکیده
Climate change is characterized by global surface warming associated with the increase of greenhouse gas population since start industrial era. Growing evidence shows that upper atmosphere experiencing appreciable cooling over last several decades. The seminal modeling study Roble and Dickinson (1989) suggested potential effects increased gases on ionosphere thermosphere which appear consistent some observations. However, outstanding issues remain regarding role CO 2 , other important contributors, impacts trend in thermosphere: for example, (1) what regional variability trends? (2) very strong ionospheric observed multiple incoherent scatter radars does not fit prevailing theory based argument anthropogenic increases, why? (3) effect secular changes Earth’s main magnetic field? Is it visible now data can explain (4) impact long-term operational systems? (5) are appropriate strategic plans to ensure monitoring critical space climate?

O16: Long Term Video EEG (AC/DC) Monitoring
Long term video electro-encephalographic (EEG) monitoring (LTM) is defined as the continuous and synchronized recording of EEG and multimedia to analyze brain abnormalities. A conventional LTM system continuously records EEG in the frequency range of 0.5-70Hz. The data synchronization, the high-volume data management, the system reliability as well as noise reduction remain significant challeng...

PSAMP Long-term Sediment Monitoring As part of the Puget Sound Ambient Monitoring Program (PSAMP), the Washington State Department of Ecology sampled sediments at ten fixed stations each spring from 1989 through 2000 (Figure 1). Stations were chosen from a variety of habitats and geographic locations in Puget Sound. Sediments from each station were analyzed for particle size, organic carbon con...
متن کاملLong-Term Monitoring: An Overview
This chapter consists of two parts. In the first part, we will review the indications for longterm EEG monitoring in the diagnosis and management of epilepsy. This will include the differentiation of seizures and epilepsy, appropriate diagnostic and treatment options, the techniques and methods used in the EEG monitoring (ambulatory – hospital-based noninvasive and invasive video/EEG telemetry)...
